General views on allergies

Nowadays allergies are a commonplace. Sometime during their lifetime every second person suffers from symptoms caused by allergies. Allergic persons react to various kinds of dust, pollen, fur-bearing animals, mite, mildew and other impurities in the air.

About 6% of the population are asthmatics. Dust and impurities in the indoor air are far more serious for asthmatics than the quality of the outdoor air. The indoor air is deteriorated by poor ventilation and insufficient cleaning, smoking, pets and mite (for allergic persons), mildew and microbs as well as chemicals in building and furnishing materials.
